Bioglitter® being globally cosmetic approved makes it suitable for use in most colour cosmetic applications. Its silky feel makes it a much more comfortably product to wear that traditional plastic glitters.
Suitable for use in nail art, UV nail and water based nail varnish applications. Bioglitter® Sparkle has limited solvent resistance so it’s currently not suitable for use in solvent based nail varnish. However, Bioglitter® Pure has solvent resistance and performs well in this application.
Suitable for use in eye makeup, with heat resistance to over 100oC it is suitable for processing into cosmetic pencils. Less than 150micron rule: The cosmetic industry observes a less than 150micron particle size rule around the eyes, therefore glitter sizes 006 and 004 are suitable for use around eyes according to this rule.
Suitable for use in eye makeup, with heat resistance to over 100oC it is suitable for processing into lip stick and lip gloss. The only exception in lip applications is Bioglitter® Sparkle, it contains aluminium which is not permitted for use on lips in the USA (FDA Cosmetic Regulations).
Suitable for use in hair products. Its silky properties makes it much less irritable than plastic glitters on the scalp. In addition when it’s washed off in the shower for example, you can be certain it will biodegrade in the natural environment.
BODY ART & TATTOOS
Suitable to use loose with a fixative or in a fixative gel for body art and tattoos or for use in stick on glitter tattoos.
FESTIVAL & CARNIVAL
Suitable to use loose with a fixative, Bioglitter® can give the festival goer a subtle shimmer glow with smaller sizes or the ultimate ‘bling’ appeal with large sizes. Mixes of sizes and colours are extremely popular to obtain the ‘mermaid’ or ‘unicorn’ look!
Suitable for use in skin care products such as face masks and sun creams.
